KATHUA: Bani Zone girls won under-19 an under-14 titles dominated in pool B matches of volleyball in the ongoing Inter-Zonal District Level Competition being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Kathua for AAG girls in volleyball separate venues, here on Sunday.
Matches were held at Sports Stadium Kathua, Sports Stadium Kathua and Women College Kathua in the presence of the DYSSO Kathua Sunil Kumar along with ZPEOS of 12 Zones, Activities Incharge Joginder Kumar and Nasib Chand, Lect. Deepak Kumar, Mohan Lal Dubb, Dharminder Singh Shally, and other field staff.
A total of 220 girls of 12 zones were participated today in under-14, 17 and 19 years categories in the volleyball.
Results: Pool B: U-19: U-19: Zone Bani beat Zone Malhar by 2-0. Final: Zone Bani beat Zone Mahanpur by 2-0. U-17: U-17: Zone Lakhanpur beat Zone Marheen by 2-0. Final: Zone Billawar beta Zone Lakhanpur by 2-0. U-14: Zone Bani beat Zone Marheen by 2-0. Final: Zone Bani beat Zone Billawar by 2-0.
Today’s matches were officiated by Deepak Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Sudarshan Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Madhu Sharma, Avinash Sharma, Mandeep Singh, Sushma Devi and Shivali Sharma.
