Azad condemns terror attack in Nagrota

New Delhi: Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad today strongly condemned the terror strike at the army base in Nagrota in Jammu and Kashmir and urged the central government to do the needful to prevent such attacks.
In a statement, Azad expressed deep concern over the increase in the number of terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir and incidents of firing along the border in last few months.
Azad urged the Union government to take concrete steps to prevent such occurrences. The senior Congress leader also paid homage to the brave officers and soldiers who lost their lives in the attack.
“My heart goes out to their families and I pray that almighty gives them strength to bear the irreparable loss,” he said in a statement. Seven Army personnel, including two Major-rank officer, were yesterday killed in the terror attack at the military station in Nagrota.
