AWICT launches welfare projects for needy

JAMMU: Social activist and Chairperson Aditi Welfare India Charitable Trust (AWICT), Aditi Sharma launched a number of welfare projects in J&K UT for needy people. Congratulating trust members and associates on launch of projects, Aditi, while briefing media said that keeping financial strains of poor and needy people into consideration during acute health problems especially kidney, Cancer and Heart-related ailments, her trust has launched a hospital, so that the people who could not afford costly treatment, can get required treatment free of cost.
“Trust feels privileged to announce launching of other projects like Sarai for children’s welfare as there are a large number of brilliant students who want to pursue go for IAS, KAS besides other courses but could not fulfill their dreams because of financial strains etc. Trust has decided to fulfill their dreams and aspirations by imparting them free and quality education in our coaching centre,” she added. Others projects launched by the trust included cow shelters, free diploma courses for youth, rehabilitation centres for old-aged and drug addicted.
On the occasion, the trust felicitated a number of members which included S P Bali, Sunny Niranjan, Sukhvir Singh, Bhuvan Sharma, Vikas Chadha, Daljeet Singh, Ratno Devi, Vikas Jain, Vinay Choudhary, Anoop Singh, Narinder Bhagat, Arif Choudhary, Kanchan Singh, Manga Shah and Nissar. They were presented ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ for their performance. Rishi Kaul Kilam, Vikram Shridhar and Mashqur Ahmed Bhat were also present on the occasion.
