Awareness Programmes to observe ‘Bhrashtachar Mukt Bharat week’ organized by Jammu Police

JAMMU: Awareness Programmes organized to observe ‘Brashtachaar Mukt Bharat week’ at different locations of Jammu Police.
Various officers of Jammu Police including SP North Kulbir Handa, SP South Shaheen Wahid, SP Hqrs Ramnish Gupta, DySP Hqrs Dr Sunniya Wani, SDPO South Sachit Sharma, SDPO West Vikram Singh, SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna, SDPO Akhnoor Mohan Sharma and all SHOs/ ICPPs of District Jammu observed the “Brashtachaar Mukt Bharat week” in the areas under their respective jurisdictions under the overall supervision of SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli.
Different programmes were organized by Jammu Police such as an awareness rally along with the locals by SP South and SDPO South.
On the other hand, students in different schools were made aware about the ill effects of corruption. Students of different schools actively participated in the awareness programmes such as students of ‘Major Institute of Education’ School Paloura’, HSS Muthi, GHSS Rehari, GHSS Bishnah, GHSS Canal Road, GHSS Khour.
Various officers in their speech draw the attention of the participants and made them aware about the effects of corruption, government policies to curb it, laws and police actions against the corrupt elements of the society, also enlightened the participants on corruption as a crime and motivated them to aware their families and surrounding people to not to indulge in any corrupt practices, also it is the duty of every citizen of this country to contribute towards corruption-free society and help Police to root out corruption from the country.
Moreover police is committed towards public welfare and the students were urged to inform to the local police if they suspect any illegal activity in the area. Furthermore students had to strongly come forward to make India a corruption free state.
