SRINAGAR: The Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir has issued an avalanche warning for next 24 hours from 14th January, 2015 (5:00 PM) to 15th January 2015 (5:00 PM) in above 2800 m altitude of Kashmir Valley.
In view of the above avalanche warning Deputy Commissioners of Kulgam, Baramulla, Kupwara and Bandipora have been requested to advise people not to venture out and also to keep clearing snow from the rooftops of their houses/bunkers to avoid damage.
