VIJAYPUR: The car borne goons attacked a driver of three-wheeler load carrier at Raya Morh on Jammu – Kathua National Highway late in the night on Saturday and robbed of a cash amounting to Rs 8,000.
According to report, the youth identified as Shishu Kumar, son of Ram Dass, resident of Motriyan, Vijaypur who after completing the trip of his load carrier bearing Registration No JK21-3401 to Ghou Manhasan, Jammu was attacked by three car borne persons at Raya Morh when he was on his way back home. These car borne persons thrashed the youth and snatched Rs 8,000. The youth reported the matter to police station Vijaypur.
The youth along with the members of auto union reached the Police Station Vijaypur and urged the police to trace out the Highway robbers and take deterrent action against them. The police have registered the complaint and assured swift action. Those who accompanied the victim include Jagdish Singh, Pardeep Sharma, Girdhari Lal, Sonu Kumar and Som Dutt.
