POONCH: All the workers of political and social organisations of Poonch on Thursday staged a massive protest against Union BJP and State PDP-BJP Coalition Governments and condemned the attempt to fiddle with article 370 and 35A.
In a protest held at Parade Ground Park Poonch, Molana Hakeem ud Din criticised the government’s anti Kashmiri policies and said people will not accept these acts. Javid Iqbal Reshi in his address criticised the Central Government’s attempt of fiddling with Article 35A. He said, ” the Central Government must support and restore the special status of Jammu and Kashmir in true spirit as the condition across the State is not encouraging and the atmosphere is not conducive.
Speaking on the occasion Sayed Anayat Bukhari said that, “We won’t tolerate any such move and we would on roads if anything such happens”.
He said, we will strive to retain the special status of the State. Abdul Rashid Shahpuri said, the Article 370 and 35A are the agreement between India and Jammu and Kashmir it should not be changed or fiddles. Protestors warned, if attempt to fiddle special status of state is continued, they among others will hit the roads at high level.
