JAMMU: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) (A) decided to support Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for ensure its success in ensuing State Assembly elections.
Talking to media persons here today, National Vice President, SAD (A), Jaspal Singh Mangal fervently appealed to the Sikh masses to ensure success of the PDP by casting their valuable votes in favour of the party candidates.
Over an year ago, PDP Patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed met Simranjeet Singh Mann, former MP and National President SAD (A) and expressed his sincere intention in mitigating the demands and sought Sikh cooperation in the ensuing elections where after Mann issued on the spot direction to the State party unit for supporting the PDP, Mangal disclosed.
Others present were Gurdev Singh National General Secretary SAD(A), Ram Singh Member National Executive Body and General Secretary of the State, Gurjit Singh, Mankawal Singh and Gurvinder Singh.
