Asoka Mission holds medical camp

KARGIL: President Asoka Mission New Delhi Lama Lobzang in presence of Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council, Haji Anayat Ali and Minister for Cooperatives and Ladakh Affairs, Chering Dorjay inaugurated a super specialty medical camp at District Hospital, Kargil.
Deputy Commissioner, Kargil Haji Hassan Khan was also present on the occasion.
The medical camp starting from today shall be available to the general public upto 17th July, 2016. A total of 11 doctors from the reputed All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) have been specially invited for the camp who are rendering health examination and follow up in surgery, physiology, bones and joints, ophthalmology, neurology, cardiology and other services.
Pertinently the camp has been sponsored by the Asoka Mission New Delhi.
Chairman J&K Legislative Council, Haji Anayat Ali lauded the initiative of the President Asoka
Mission Lama Lobzang for making it possible to hold this type of multi specialty camp at Kargil and urged upon him to organise more such camps in future. He also appreciated the team of doctors from AIIMS for having spared their valuable time for the success of the camp.
Haji Anayat assured Lama Lobzang for all possible help in future for organising such camps in Kargil, so that the expert service of these renowned doctors is available at the door steps of the people of Kargil.
