JAMMU: Arushi Kotwal secured the under-17 title in the ongoing Jammu Division selection chess competition at Ace Chess Academy under the banner of All J and K Chess Association, here on Thursday.
Avni Gupta got second position in girls’ category in the same group. Yaksh Chopra got second position in boys category in under-17 age group. Imtiaz Ahmad got third and Aakashdeep Singh bagged fourth place.
Meanwhile, as per the organisers, the under-13 age group events shall take place tomorrow at the same venue. Senior player, Sumit Grover was the Chief Arbiter.
