JAMMU: Arun Sawhney, independent candidate Jammu West Assembly constituency kick-started his election campaign from Bakshi Nagar area here on Thursday.
Sawhney resolved to expose Congress, BJP and other Kashmir based political parties for deceiving the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that these parties have exploited the masses for decades together only to satiate their vested interests. He asked the people to give mandate to honest and dedicated candidates for ensuring development in the constituency. Arun said that relying on leaders who come out of hibernation only during elections will severely affect the progress and development of constituency. He said if given chance he will try to address all the important issues of the Jammu West Assembly Constituency.
Among those who accompanied him during the campaign include Indu Bhushan Padha, Sham Lal, Sunil Sharma, Anil Chadha and Vijay Jolly Banty.
