JAMMU: Principal Sessions Judge Jammu R.S Jain in a much publicized Bakra Murder case issued non-bailable arrest warrants against Inspector Naveen Angral SHO Police Station Trikuta Nagar and also Investigating Officer of case.
While issuing warrants against SHO Trikuta Nagar, Court after minutely going through the orders passed by the Court observed that it is apparent that Investigating Officer has intentionally not appeared in the Court and Public Prosecutor submitted that warrants of arrest should be issued against IO whereas Special Public Prosecutor submitted that his salary should be stopped.
The Court, after hearing both the sides, observed that stopping of salary at this stage is not be considered, however non-bailable arrest warrants against Inspector Naveen Angral was issued and directed that warrants of arrest to be executed through the SSP or Officiating SP Jammu and directed to produce IO on 12th June, 2015 as the case is got delayed due to the attitude of police agency.
