KISHTWAR: In wake of the Annual Urs Mubarak of Shah Asrar Ud Din Sahib falling on 10th of November 2014,DDC Kishtwar Mohd Javed Khan accompanied by SP Kishtwar Yougal Manhas and other district officers, on Sunday took on the spot review of final arrangements at Astan Bala and Astan Pani Kishtwar.
Khan directed XEn PHE to ensure availability of drinking water for Zayreen at all places. For this the PHE Deptt was asked to fill the reservoirs and also install tanks and temporary connections at required places. The EO Municipal Committee was directed to ensure cleanliness of both the shrines and also on the roads leading to them. He was asked to make available street lights wherever necessary so that the pilgrims may not face any difficulty. The R&B authorities were asked to install temporary latrines at identified spots and also do leveling works at some places on roadside.
The DDC directed CMO Kishtwar to provide medical facilities at both the shrines and also make ambulances available. The In-Charge Fire Station was asked to keep fire tenders ready at both Ziyarats. SP Yougal Manhas took stock of security arrangements, CCTVs and other security related aspects for the smooth conduct of Urs celebrations.
