BARAMULLA: Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla on Wednesday chaired a meeting of officers at Baramulla to review the arrangements for Urs-i-Janbaz-i-Wali at Baramulla. The Urs is commencing from 15th January, 2015 and will conclude on 23rd January, 2015. Officers of all the essential departments attended.
All basic facilities related to power, water supply, food, sanitation and other arrangements were threadbare discussed during the meeting. It was assured in the meeting that uninterrupted power supply will be provided during the Urs days. Besides, officers of Municipality were directed to ensure sanitation in the area.
Fifty quintals of rice and 28 quintals of sugar will be provided to the concerned Auqaf Committee of the Shrine of Khanpora Baramulla in view of these holy days for the devotees. The ADC stressed upon all the officers to ensure that all arrangements are kept in place for the holy days for the people of the locality of Khanpora Baramulla.
