Arora donates ambulance to National Federation of Blind

JAMMU: MLC Ramesh Arora on Sunday handed over the key of an ambulance to Management Committee of National Federation of Blind, Roop Nagar, at a function organized here. The ambulance was donated from the CDF of MLC Ramesh Arora. The function was addressed by M.K Badyal Member NBF, Dubey Member NBF, Anju Sharma Principal and Rahul Kumar Bhagat Assistant Professor.
The participants appreciated the role of Ramesh Arora and his approach towards blind students and also placed some demands before him it includes raising of strength from 25 students to 50 and not dislocation of teachers posted in different educational institutions in blind categories and further giving due place to the blinds in schools and other institutions where they have a role to perform. Arora assured all possible help in cases where blindness can be cured will be extended and the matter will be discussed with authorities of PGI and State Medical Department. Arora appreciated the efforts of National Blind Association in providing facilities to female child’s and said it is a job of great responsibility which people attached with the institutions are discharging. A culture programme was also presented by the blind students and Rahul Kumar Bhagat expressed thanks by singing a Ghazal in an honour of Ramesh Arora.
