JAMMU: Indian Army team defeated Sichal Village team and won the trophy Naik Ramveer Singh Tomar Ashok Chakra Memorial Volleyball Tournament, organised by Sohanda based Rashtriya Rifles, under Delta Force, here on Thursday.
In all, ten teams including one team of Rashtriya Rifles Battalion participated in the tournament.
The locals appreciated the efforts put in by the army for the youth of the region and proposed that such sports events should be organised in future too.
