MENDHAR: A mini school bus carrying children overturned near an army post at Balakote. The alert troops on duty were quick to react to the crises and quickly rushed to the accident spot and rescued the children from the overturned vehicle. The children were evacuated to the nearby army medical facility where the medical staff tended to their injuries. All the children were safe and no one was critically injured. The overturned bus was also recovered using the army recovery vehicle.
The timely action by the army averted a major tragedy and the children were able to return to their parents safe and sound.
