SRINAGAR: Army has decided to conduct recruitment rally for an additional day on 5th May for Soldier General Duties and Tradesmen at Anantnag (Pulwama and Shopiyan districts) Baramulla (for Boniyar, Kreeri, Rafiabad and Tangmarg Tehsils only) and Kupwara (for Kupwara district only) as the recruitment in the Kashmir was affected due to bad weather on 27th and 29th April 2015.
The rallies were conducted for raising of three Territorial Army (Engineers) battalions for J&K and to fill a total of 1305 vacancies from entire state of J&K less Kargil and Leh Districts.
A total of 45000 youths were screened for physical proficiency tests during the recently held Territorial Army recruitment rallies. The candidates who have cleared the physical tests are undergoing medical tests.
