RAJOURI: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion of Manjakote Sector, under Romeo Force, brought smiles to the school children of remote areas along the border by distributing furniture to Government Primary School, Sharma Basti, District Rajouri on Wednesday.
The school was presented with 20 two seater study tables with benches, 12 plastic chairs, one office table, three chairs, two steel almirahs, two book shelves, one lecture stand and one iron box in the presence of Pawan Kumar, Headmaster, teachers, students and parents. Headmaster complimented the efforts of ‘Romeo Force’ and termed it as a milestone towards uplift of education in the village and surrounding areas.
