SUNDERBANI: To foster unity and community development through the medium of sports, the Indian Army organised 12-day long inter-school volleyball tournament at Dhok Kangri, Sunderbani in district Rajouri under Operation Sadbhavana.
A total of eight teams from local schools took part in this event and in the final, Government Higher Secondary School Bajabain defeated Government High School Dhok Kangri. The winner and runners-up teams felicitated by wife of Shaeed Havildar Sunil Kumar.
As the tournament concludes, the Indian Army extends gratitude to the participating schools, the locals of Sunderbani for their enthusiasm and support.
Brigadier Kalidar Barigade was chief guest while incharge District Rajouri Volleyball Association, Mohd Tariq was guest of honour.
