NOWSHERA: To inculcate team spirit and sportsman-spirit amongst the youth of the region, the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Jhangar organised a volleyball tournament.
Six teams from villages of Jhangar, Lam, Lar, Laroka and Kampla participated in the tournament. “The tournament conducted under project Sadbhavana aimed at identifying talent and promote sportsmanship amongst the youth,” Defence Spokesperson, S.D Goswami said. The army, he said, assured continued support on such goodwill projects which would strengthen the adventurous streak in the local youth of the region.
