RAJOURI: In an effort to integrate the school children with the national mainstream and to promote sports amongst the children residing in far flung area of Rajouri District, Rashtriya Rifles battalion part of Romeo Force, organised ‘Run For Fun’ for 217 school children at village Gala today. The event was witnessed by a large number of students, parents, teachers and prominent civilians of village Gala.
The event was inaugurated by village Sarpanch Mohdin Malik of Gala. On the occasion the Chief Guest said that such events would promote interest in the physical activities and health in the region and create an atmosphere of peace and harmony. The Head Master Mohd Rasiq thanked the Indian Army for conducting this event for the school children.
