BHADARWAH: As a part of Army Day Celebrations, the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion organised quiz and drawing competitions on Sunday at Bhalla and Sitengal.
Army Day marks a day to salute the valiant soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect our country and people. To mark this grand occasion, Rashtriya Rifles at Bhadarwah had organised few events to involve children, youth and locals, a Defence Spokeperson Lt Col Manish Mehta said.
A quiz competition was organised for children at Bhalla in which a total of 82 students took part. A drawing competition was organised at Sitengal in which 68 students participated and surprised one and all with their sense of creativity and talent.
On culmination of the competitions, prizes were distributed to the winners.
