Army organises medical camp in Doda

DODA: A medical camp was organised by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, Doda at Bhart in Doda District in which a total of 377 people including 119 women and 115 children from nearby villages participated.
Dr Javed, PHC, Bhart, Farooq Ahmed, Sarpanch, Barnu, Noor Mohd, Naib Sarpanch Gujjar Basti alongwith locals from nearby villages attended the event.
The medical camp was organised to provide medical facilities to needy poor locals of Bhart and their nearby villages which are deprived of the basic medical assistance. Rashtriya Rifles Battalion provided all essential administrative support to organise the medical camp and distributed medicines.
Unit RMO personally checked and distributed medicines accordingly to them. The event drew overwhelming response from the public of the complete area and they appreciated the efforts undertaken by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion for improving the medical facilities in the district. This step will go a long way in giving a boost to improve health in remote areas of District, Doda.
The Sarpanchs of all the villages appreciated the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion for all the assistance provided by them. The locals while thanking the army assured them for their continuous support to further strengthen the bond between the local populace and army.
