SAMBA : An Army Jawan identified as Rahul Kumar of 81 Armed Regiment, Samba during the intervening night of 29th /30th September, 2014 fired three rounds from his service LMG and committ suicide.
The army reported the matter to Samba Police and shifted his body to District Hospital Samba for post mortem. His body was handed over back to the army after completing legal formalities. The Samba Police have registered a case under section 174 RPC. His body will be sent to his native place under the arrangement of his unit.
