RAJOURI: An amity meeting was conducted by army at village Saaj in Rajouri district on Saturday.
The meeting was to have constructive exchange of views with the villagers which intern would facilitate cordial relations amongst all sections of society and enhance peace in the area. Such interactions are also a source of feedback from the locals on various programmes and welfare measures being run by different government agencies.
The focus of the interaction remains constructive engagement of the youth in the area. Information on various welfare schemes being run by government, specially army was provided to the locals. The locals appreciated the selfless service being rendered by the army to being peace, stability and prosperity in the area.
