POONCH: To enhance the general knowledge of students and inculcate a competitive spirit amongst them, Sarla Battalion under the aegis of Krishna Ghati Brigade conducted an inter school quiz competition on Wednesday. A total of 40 students from six schools of Khari Karmara, Ponidhara, Fakirdhara and Gulpur villages participated in the said competition with immense zeal and enthusiasm.
This initiative by the battalion will certainly help the students of these remote border villages to move
forward with the mainstream of the nation and thus assist them in formulating a
path for their overall
development.
The Headmasters of respective Schools, Sarpanchs of Gulpur and Khari Karmara along with the staff members attended the function and applauded Army’s efforts for providing an opportunity to these students to showcase their knowledge and thus imbibe a competitive spirit amongst them.
