KALAKOTE: Inter Village Cricket Competition organized Rashtriya Rifles battalion to promote harmony and well being amongst youth, concluded here on Thursday. In the competition eight teams of Kalakote Tehsil participated, PRO Defence Col N.N Joshi said adding that the tournament was conducted as per league cum knock out basis to inculcate sportsman spirit and esprit-de-corps in the rural youth. The aim of these matches, he said, was to prepare best team of the Kalakote Tehsil for future competitions and to constructively engage the local youth, weaning them away from negative influences, which will go a long way in restoring the normalcy in the State.
