JAMMU: Hindi Kashmiri Sahitya Sangam, an All India Organization working under the banner of Sahitya Academy and Social Work Department, honoured Vijay Puri, Academic Director KC Gurukul Public Schools for her dedicated Services in the field of education, administration, literature and Social Causes, in a function held at Kailash Bhawan, Noida.
She was honoured with a citation, a Shawl and a cash prize and the honour was titled “Arinimal Sahitya Shri Award”.
It is worthwhile to mention that Arinimal was the greatest Spiritual Poetess at Pur with the worldwide known saint poetess Lal Ded, whose mesmerizing poem and verses have led the Indian society in educational and moral upliftment.
Presenting her the Award and citation, Dr. Mahesh the State Minister of Culture Tourism Centre, Dr. Parmanand Panchal, Padam Shree Sheela Junjunwala, Dr. Daya Prakash Sinha and Bimla Bathan (MP) applauded her selfless work for the languages and literature and socialitical spheres.
Congratulating her School Management of KC Gurukul, appreciated her for yet another feather in her cap as she is already the recipient of Coveted “Jewel of India Award, Lifetime Achievement Award and Bal Seva Shram award.
Speaking on the occasion, she thanked Central Government and Non Government agencies for appreciating her humble services.
