Appearance of Sahib Kabir on earth
Satguru Madhu Param Hans ji Maharaj
Sahib Kabir, a great humanitarian and the founder of spiritualism appeared in Lahar Tara Pond of Kashi in 1455 in the early morning of Monday on a full moon day. The misconceptions created in the minds of people about his birth are hardly to be found in case of any other sage. Even today his birth and life is a mystery for the people though he has unfolded the secret related to his life in his own words.
He has said that he has come in the pure awakened state from Amarlok of Satya Purush.
At many places Sahib Kabir has revealed that he didn’t take birth from the womb of mother but appeared on the earth from the rare and dazzling light of Param Purush.
Dear readers, my aim is not to create any misconception. I want only to present a great reality in a rational manner. His identity and personality is matchless. The pre Karl Marx society takes him as a social reformer. The poets, on seeing his simple but forceful sayings take him as Sant Samrat (emperor among the saints). Those with rational thinking take him as a great plain speaking person. Among the saints he is taken as the first Saint Satguru or the Sant Samrat. The yogis take him as Yogeshwar. The devotees take him as a great devotee. The administrators of justice take him as a great judge. Among the intellectuals with spiritual knowledge he occupies the same position as the river Ganges occupies among other rivers. Likewise the critics, Brahmgeyanis (having knowledge of Brahm) and others hold him in high esteem. He didn’t float any religion.
His sole aim was to create awakening among the people. Along with this he gave message of worship of the all powerful. Some call him as one who speaks against all prevalent modes of worship. But it is not so. Truth is that he highlighted the significance of pra mode of worship along with mentioning the reward different modes of worship could bring. He told about four kinds of salvations that could be taken as four kinds of heaven as well. Then he told about the real salvation that unites the soul with Param Purush. His description of the real mode of worship appealed to the masses. Some were engaged in Sagun (with form) while others were engaged in Nirgun (formless) kinds of worship but he told about the kind of worship that was far beyond these two. Some Nirgun worshipers listen to the musical notes emanating from within and taking these very notes as God remain engrossed in them. Sahib said that these notes vanish. So what kind of a Shabad (holy word) can we call it?
The real word, according to him, was the soundless sound. This is because the sound is produced only when two things strike and where there is sound, there is Maya (illusion).
All the saints and sages of past agreed to his views. He has presented before the world the easy mode of meditation and worship that one could practice in one’s family life as well. He also talked in the language of common people the technique of visiting Brahmand by opening the Sushumna nerve.
In fact, Sahib Kabir was not a human being. Everyone praises his deity but realize the weightage in my reasoning. There is need to think over in an impartial manner.
Sahib Kabir knew that the people had spread many misconceptions related to his birth. As such, he decided to reveal his real identity at the time of his departure. After spreading the message of real worship for 120 years he decided to return to his real abode & declared that he would depart from the world on Magh Sudhi Ekadsi of 1575. Hearing this declaration lacs of people assembled at Magghar. Beer Singh, the king of Kashi and Nawab Bijli Khan of Avadh also reached there. Many other people who wanted to witness this great event had also assembled there.
King Beer Singh ordered his Army Chief to take the mortal remains to Kashi when Sahib Kabir left his body. He said that he would erect a Samadhi there. When Bijli Khan came to know of it, he said that he won’t let such a thing to happen as Sahib Kabir was his Guru. He wanted to erect a Mazar as per the Muslim religion. Both of them drew swords and were prepared to have a fight. In the meantime, a dazzling light appeared in the sky and there was a word.
When the sheet was removed, there appeared the lotus flowers. Sahib Kabir performed this miracle in the presence of lakhs of people. Both Beer Singh and Bijli Khan embraced each other. The Hindus took the flowers and erected a Samadhi while the Muslims erected a Mazar.
Even today in Magghar the two places give a clear message to the people that Sahib Kabir was not a human being but Param Purush Himself.
Give a rational thought to the truth inherent in all that what I have said. Never before had any one departed from the world along with his body.
This was the first and the last miracle that Sahib Kabir performed before such a big gathering.
His sayings will always show mankind the path of reaching the all powerful Param Purush.
