ANTF Jammu organizes awareness program on drug abuse

JAMMU: Under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) Jammu organized an awareness program on drug abuse on Monday at Government Higher Secondary School Boys, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from a large number of students and staff members.
The primary objective of the program was to educate the public about the dangers of drug abuse and to take preventive measures to protect society from the scourge of drug addiction.
The session was led by SSP ANTF Raj Kumar, who provided comprehensive insights into various aspects of drug abuse. He emphasized the importance of staying away from drugs and highlighted sports activities as a constructive alternative that can serve as a preventive measure against drug abuse.
During the program, students were encouraged to actively engage in sports and other positive activities as a means to avoid the temptation of drug use.
Additionally, they were urged to be vigilant and share any information related to drug peddlers and smugglers with law enforcement agencies.
