JAMMU: Two days annual festival to commemorate the arrival of Mata Chintpurni on earth organised by J and K Dharamarth Trust in association with the Advisory Committee of Mata Chintpurni Temple concluded here at Chintpurni Temple Circular Road.
During the two days Mela, Akhand Ramayan Path of Ram Charitmanas, Satsang, Bhajan Kirtan, Hawan and Bhandara were organised.
During the two days festivities, large number of devotees visited the temple to perform Pooja Archana.
The Mela concluded by offering Puran Ahuti and Aarti by B.R Kundal President J&K Dharamarth Trust in presence of large no of devotees and members of the advisory committee. After performing the Aarti, BR Kundal sought blessings of Mata Chintpurni for bringing peace and prosperity to the residents of J&K and distributed Parshad amongst the devotees.
Jammu East MLA and BJP chief whip Rajesh Gupta was the Chief Guest. The members of temple committee appealed to Rajesh Gupta for renovating the temple premises. Upon this, the MLA promised to start the renovation work very soon.
Pandit Dawarka Nath, Anoop Agarwal, Ram Murti Gupta, Vrinder Khajuria, Heera Lal Abrol, Anoop Mittal and Tejram Choudhary besides BJP leaders Prof. Sham Gupta, Hariom, Kuldeep Kandhari, Gopal, Chamanlal, Rajkumar, Rajesh Nischal and JE JMC R.K Koul were also present.
