Annual cultural extravaganza celebrated at JK Public School Kunjwani

JAMMU: For 23 years, JK Public School, Kunjwani has been a leader in education, helping students to become leaders of strong character by developing the spiritual, moral and intellectual dimensions of their lives.
Carrying the legacy forward, the school celebrated its 23rd Annual Day Function for Toddlers and Junior Wing.
The theme of the celebrations was ‘Rishtey’ – various aspects of relations in life and understanding their importance at various stages.
The pace of life today is such that often, relationships are given a low priority in our list of things to do. Emphasizing the importance of relations which is the basis of our Indian culture, the theme was very well portrayed by the students.
The distinguished Chief Guest for the occasion was Dilbagh Singh, Additional Director General of Police. The other dignitaries present were Raj Daluja, Chairman JK Educational Society; Davinder Daluja, Patron JK Educational Society; Mrs and Mr Sidharth Daluja, Gautam Daluja, Mrs and Mr. Brig (retd). Sukhdev Singh, Director, JK Educational Society, Mrs and Mr. Gorav Abrol, Director MV International School and Mrs and Mr. Arvind Mahajan, Chairman KC Gurukul Public School.
The grand function was held at the Nelsum Exquisite Millennium Hall in the school premises. It commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp to invoke the blessings of the Almighty.
Principal, S.K Singh presented the school annual report and the achievements in all spheres were presented through a power point projection.
The sequel ‘Rishtey’ which was the theme of the day was beautifully portrayed through a play. It talked about bonding and relations that exist in the society. Students of Toddlers’ World mesmerized the audience with their enthralling performance on the theme ‘Hum Sab Ek Hain’. Little Karaketas also presented their skills.
The juncture was the spectacular array of glorious, scintillating and flabbergasting performances. The audience witnessed the students transmitting the theme of the day through a plethora of colorful events like dances, dramas and skit.
The Chief Guest and other dignitaries lauded the students for their brilliant performances and congratulated the achievers and their parents for the achievement. The Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of the school and students in putting up a wonderful show.
Raj Daluja, Chairman JK Educational Society, felicitated the Chief Guest with a memento. Vote of thanks was presented by Vice Principal, Rajesh Gandral. The event was adorned for its compactness, creativity and diversity.
