AKHNOOR: The annual congregation at the Ziarat of Baba Faiz Ali Shah Bukhari, Bal Bagh Akhnoor was organized on Thursday in which thousands of devotees from whole of the country besides the locals participated.
The congregation was organized by the present priest Majwar Tipu and other members of Ziarat. While talking to STATE TIMES Majwar Tipu said that the Ziarat is over 600 years old where the mad dog-bite cases are fully cured without any medicine. He said that the ziarat of Baba Faiz Ali Shah Bukhari is a symbol of communal harmony where people of all walks of life including Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Christian mark their presence.
The Priest Majawar Tipu and other members of the Ziarat appealed to the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and MLA Akhnoor to declare this holy place a tourist spot and provide suitable accommodation so that the patients and the devotees avail all the facilities during their visit from any corner of the country.
A Vishal Bhandara was also served to the devotees on this occasion.
