JAMMU: Anjuman-e-Imamia Jammu in collaboration with All Ladakh Muslim Student Association Jammu, took out a protest rally to observe the International Al-Quds Day.
Maulana Syed Ali Badshah Naqvi Imam Masjid Peer Mitha said that Quds Day had been declared to show the solidarity with the Palestinian people and against the atrocities done by Israel but today whole Muslim Ummah is oppressed by the Oppressors like America and Israel. Now it is our duty to submit our share by supporting this cause, he added.
While addressing the gathering President Anjuman, Syed Amanat Ali Shah said that it is the duty of every Muslim to come out to support this noble cause and give their due share to support the oppressed of Palestine.
Dr. Rawoof Chief Organiser said that Youm-e-Quds i.e last Friday of Ramzan had been declared by Imam Khomaini as a ‘Day of Fate’ and which could also become the day on which the fate of the Palestinian people might be determined as ‘Quds Day’. Prof. Sujat Khan also spoke on the occasion.
