JAMMU: Anisha bagged the 1500 meters gold in open girls’ category in the ongoing State Athletic Championship organised by J and K Athletics Association at BSF Stadium here on Tuesday.
Second place went to Chanchal Kumar while Puja Yadav remained third. In girls’ under-16 year Long Jump event, Alisha secured first place while Sakshi and Monika bagged third and fourth position respectively.

GIRLS: Open: 1500 mts: Anisha, Ist; Chanchal Kumari, 2nd and Puja Yadav, 3rd. U-14 Long Jump: Alisha, Ist; Sakshi, 2nd and Monika, 3rd.
BOYS: Open: 10,000 mts: Riaz Ahmed, Ist; Lal Singh, 2nd and Lavjeet Singh, 3rd. U-14: 200 mts: Aman Tiwari, Ist; Imran Farooq, 2nd and Amarjit, 3rd. U-18: 200 mts: Vishal Singh, Ist; Akash Sudan, 2nd and Mohammad Azan, 3rd.
