POONCH : Hundreds of Anganwadi workers held a protest in Krishna Park Poonch against their en masse termination by Director ICDS. The protest was led by President National Trade Union Front Mohd Rafiq Malik. The protesters also handed over a memorandum of demands to the Deputy Commissioner Poonch.
He said that the termination of Anganwadi workers and helpers who had rendered more than 10 years service is sheer injustice and has snatched the bread and butter of these workers.
