Anganwadi workers, helpers without salary since 2014; HSS demands DC’s intervention

KISHTWAR: While expressing his serious concern over the failure of government and higher authorities of ICDS Department to disburse the salaries of Anganwadi workers and helpers , Hindustan Shiv Sena (HSS) Kishtwar demanded immediate attention of government and higher authorities to mitigate their problems at the earliest. While criticising the concerned authorities, HSS Chenab and Pir Panjal Incharge Tilak Raj Shan said that the Aanganwadi workers and helpers are still without salaries since July 2014, due to which the employees are facing trouble in their day to day affairs.
He said that government should come up with a solution by taking some bold steps to streamline and redress the issues of these employees. “Various requests were made before concerned authorities but all in vain as the concerned authority didn’t pay any heed towards this genuine issue of Aanganwadi workers and helpers of Padder region,” Shan alleged.
Shan urged upon the DC Kishtwar Ghulam Nabi Balwan to personally intervence in this matter and direct concerned department to disburse the pending salaries of employees at an earliest so that they can take a sign of relief.
