SRINAGAR: Minister of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department on Saturday introduced a bill in the Legislative Assembly to amend the ‘Jammu and Kashmir Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1988 (LA Bill No 4 of 2016). The Minister also introduced a bill to amend the ‘Jammu and Kashmir Alienation of Land Act, Samvat 1995 and the Transfer of Property Act, Samvat 1977 (LA Bill No 5 of 2016).
