JAMMU: As part of Seva Pakhwada celebrations to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jammu District BJP (East) today organized a massive cleanliness drive at Hari Singh Park.
The initiative was led by senior BJP leader and MLA Jammu East Constituency Yudhvir Sethi in the presence of Advocate Rakesh Kumar, Vice President Anil Masoom, Sumit Raina, Adarsh Kumar, Anil Sood, Swati, and several other party functionaries and volunteers.
Yudhvir said the cleanliness campaign reflected the vision of Prime Minister Modi’s Swachh Bharat Mission. “Cleanliness is not just a campaign but a collective responsibility. Together, we must move ahead with the spirit of ‘Green Jammu, Clean Jammu’. Such initiatives succeed only when every citizen actively participates,” he said.
Highlighting the broader message of Seva Pakhwada, Sethi said, “This fortnight is dedicated to service activities ranging from health awareness, sanitation, tree plantation, and women empowerment. Prime Minister Modi has given the vision of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, and we are proud to contribute to this mission. Today, we not only wish for his long and healthy life but also pledge to follow his ideals of service and nation-building.”
Yudhvir also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his visionary leadership, describing him as not only the most popular leader of India but also one of the most respected leaders across the world. Yudhvir Sethi also participated in Plog Run organized by Jammu Municipal Corporation.
