Yudhvir Sethi inaugurates free medical camp at Shri Laxmi Narayan Temple

JAMMU: In a remarkable initiative aimed at promoting public health and community welfare, senior BJP leader and MLA Jammu East, Yudhvir Sethi, on Saturday inaugurated a Free Medical Camp at the sacred premises of Shri Laxmi Narayan Temple, Dhakki Sarajan, near Link Road Chowk, Jammu.

The medical camp, organized by Swarnkar Sangh Jammu in collaboration with the Directorate of AYUSH and Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu, witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents and devotees. The camp, which commenced at 10:30 AM, offered free consultations, diagnosis, and distribution of Ayurvedic medicines to hundreds of beneficiaries, reaffirming the commitment of the organizers towards community service.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Yudhvir Sethi lauded the efforts of Swarnkar Sangh Jammu and the Directorate of AYUSH for their dedication towards public welfare. He emphasized the significance of organizing such health camps, especially in densely populated areas, to ensure that quality healthcare services reach the grassroots. “Such initiatives reflect the spirit of service and are in perfect alignment with the vision of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who advocates for accessible and affordable healthcare for all,” he said.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Vivek Shekhar Sharma, Superintendent of Police, Jammu North, who served as the Guest of Honour, and Dr. Vandana Dogra, Superintendent, Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu, as the Special Guest. Both dignitaries appreciated the organizers for bringing healthcare services directly to the community’s doorstep.
Ajay Verma (Monu), President of Swarnkar Sangh Jammu, extended heartfelt thanks to all dignitaries, doctors, volunteers, and attendees for their support in making the camp a success. He reiterated the Sangh’s commitment to conducting more such programs in the future to serve society at large.
The event concluded with a collective resolve to continue promoting health awareness and welfare activities, ensuring that no section of society remains deprived of basic healthcare facilities.
