JAMMU: A youth was injured on Thursday when a transformer exploded here in Jammu.
According to a report, a transformer installed at Trikuta Nagar area near SBI Bank Branch exploded after a surge injuring a youth who was walking near the transformer. The youth identified as Rakesh Kumar, resident of Chand Nagar was shifted to GMC Jammu. However, the cause behind the explosion of transformer was not ascertained.
