NOWSHERA: The parents of a private teacher and the villagers blocked the Jammu – Poonch National Highway at Dandesar against the killing of a youth by an over speeding video coach for the whole night of 5/6th March 2017.
According to report the youth identified as Suresh Kumar son of Ram Parkash resident of Dandesar was crushed by a Video Coach against which the locals blocked the road. ADC Rajouri, SDM Nowshera, SHO Nowshera and Tehsildar Noshera reached the spot and pacified the protesters. They announced a relief of Rs 50,000 from Red-Cross, Rs 50,000 on humanitarian ground and recommended for the employment of sister of the deceased. On the assurance of visiting officers the locals lifted Dharna.
Meanwhile the police arrested driver of the bus and registered a case FIR 28/2017 under section 279/304A RPC for investigation.
