MENDHAR : A 28 years youth identified as Showkat Ahmed son of Mohammad Ibrahim resident of village Bahera, Mendhar consumed three tablets of pesticide in the field and became unconscious. Some pedestrians who noticed his condition shifted him to Sub District Hospital Mendhar.
Since his condition was critical, the doctors referred him to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu after providing first aid.
The circumstances under which he consumed the tablets of pesticide could not be ascertained. However the police have registered the case and also recovered the container of the tablets from the spot.
