JAMMU: A 22 year-old youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his home in Purani Mandi area under the jurisdiction of City Police Station.
The deceased has been identified as Vasu Mahajan son of Harjinder Pal, residents of Katyalan streets.
According to reports, Vasu was found hanging in the house by the family members. The body was shifted to mortuary and after legal formalities the it was handed over to family members for last rites.
Police registered a case in this connection and started further investigation.
