R S PURA: Young Star Club and Diamond Club registered win the league matches of the Hockey Tournament-2016 being organised by Jammu and Kashmir Police under Civic Action Programme (CAP) at Boys High School, Simbal Camp, here on Monday.
In the first match Young Star Hockey Club defeated Boys High School Simbal Camp by three goals to nil. Ramandeep Singh of Young Star Hockey Club was declared Man of the Match.
In another match, Diamond Club with the help of Gurvinder Pal Singh Ginni, who made hat trick, defeated MBS Hockey Club Makhanpur by 8-1 goals.
Today’s matches were officiated by the technical panel comprising Amarjeet Singh, Manjeet Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Gurjeet Singh and Charanjeet Singh.
SHO Miran Sahib Hilal Azhar and Captain Manjeet Singh, Sukhvir Singh, Parmeet Singh, Santokh Singh Cheema, Gurmeet Singh JE were also present on the occasion.
