YAC holds protest against JKSSB for getting conducted exams through blacklisted company

JAMMU: A massive protest was held on Wednesday by Youth Against Corruption (YAC) at Press Club Jammu against Jammu Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) for conducting various recruitment exams through a blacklisted company. A number of volunteers from different districts of Jammu and Kashmir gathered to express resentment against JKSSB and LG’s administration for their failure to maintain transparency in the recruitments.
While addressing media, YAC volunteers said that JKSSB has learnt nothing from its prior frauds and again hired a blacklisted company which is indulged in malpractices in over more than 10 recruitment exams conducted in various states. “We approached JKSSB to not lend our recruitments in the hands of a private tainted firm but they unheard our plea. When we approached High Court, historical judgement was passed in our favour against the company after which administration went to Double Bench to bring a stay on the judgement,” said a volunteer, adding that UT Administration instead of standing with youth is protecting a tainted firm. “In coming days, JKSSB is going to conduct exams of Fisheries Department, Election Assistant, Labour Officer, Assistant Law Officer, Patwari, MVI Drivers etc though the blacklisted company because of which youth has lost faith over JKSSB and JKUT Administration,” they asserted.
Vinkal Sharma and Atul Sudan demanded to end role of tainted private company in recruitment process.
Prominent among others present in the protest included Rohit Ronak, Sakshar, Moin, Nasir, Ramnenk, Rajst Ajay, Aditya, Manik, Aquib, Najeem, Shaqib, Shang, Tahir, Sahil Keshav, Abhishek, Rohit, Vishal Rakesh Anil Nadeem, Ricky, Arun. Pankaj, Asif, Arti, Nadeem Sahil, Nisar and Omar.
