Rich tributes paid to martyred BSF jawan

JAMMU: Tributes were paid to the martyred BSF jawan in Pakistan firing at the wreath laying ceremony held here on Thursday at BSF Headquarters, Jammu Frontier.
A wreath laying ceremony organised here at the Frontier HQ BSF Camp Paloura to pay tributes to brave BSF Head Constable Radha Pada Hazra.
Dr S.P Vaid, DGP, Dr S.D Singh, IGP, Ram Awtar, IG BSF Jammu along with BSF officers and personnel paid tributes to the Martyr.
Ram Awtar, IG BSF Jammu, said that BSF has the history of bravery and this brave act has once again shown that BSF soldiers are always ready to sacrifice their life for the nation. Further he said, Head Constable Radha Pada Hazra’s sacrifice shall be remembered forever.
Martyred jawan will be cremated at his native village Hat Para, District Murshidabad, West Bengal. BSF Head Constable Radha Pada Hazara, who sustained injury in his abdomen by a bullet fired from Pakistan on January 3, got martyrdom last night at Government District Hospital, Samba.
