Kiran Gupta, the Celebration Incharge expressed, “Today’s celebration acknowledges television’s potential to foster peace, development, and cultural exchange, while also promoting the production of quality content in an era dominated by social media.”
Jakiians enacted a skit to highlight the bad effects of watching too much television. Jakiians acted as different famous television channels like StarPlus, Sony SAB, Sony Entertainment Television, Zee TV and Colors TV, Discovery channel and other educational channels.
The Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah addressed the Jakiians and said, “Television is not just a source of information; it is a symbol of globalization, bridging cultural, linguistic, and geographical divides. Through news broadcasts, documentaries, and educational programs, it connects people worldwide, shaping public opinion and fostering a sense of shared humanity.”
