KATHUA: An anonymous complaint was submitted by various women teachers of district Kathua against the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kathua Balbir Singh for his misbehaviour towards them.
Taking cognisance of the complaint the Director School Education (DSE) Sumita Sethi ordered an inquiry against the CEO to be conducted by Neelam Kumar HoD, DIET Jammu and Sushma Sharma HoD, Directorate of School Education Jammu.
Meanwhile a joint meeting of All J and K +2 Lecturers’ Forum and Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum Distt Kathua was held at Kathua in which large number of people from Education Department including Principals, Lecturers, Masters and Teachers participated in order to condemn the baseless and fabricated allegations levelled by anonymous and so called aggrieved female teachers of district Kathua against Balbir Singh Chief Education Officer Kathua.
In the meeting every speaker spoke at length regarding the honest and able working of Chief Education Officer Kathua, who has made the Distt fully functional and delivered justice to everyone and condemned the false allegations against him.
The participants in the meeting appealed to the education authorities particularly and public in general not to pay heed to such type of rumours which tarnish the clean image of such a dedicated and honest officer.
They also appealed to the higher authorities that a high level enquiry committee may be constituted to enquire the matter at the grass root level.
